Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Tradelink Logistics collects through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can exercise your rights over it.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Tradelink Logistics is responsible for the personal data collected through tradelinklogistics.com. Our office is located at:

2. What information we collect

We collect different information depending on how you interact with the site:

  • Quote requests (Home and Contact page): your name, company, email, phone number, origin and destination, service type, approximate weight and dimensions, and any details you add.
  • Scheduling a call (from the quote confirmation screen): your name, company, email, phone number, and the date/time you choose.
  • SMS consent (optional checkbox on those same forms): whether you checked it, the exact wording you agreed to, and the date — so we can prove, if we're ever asked, that you did ask us to text you. See section 6.
  • Job applications (Careers page): your name, email, phone number, city, and your résumé/CV (as a file or a link). If you choose to complete the optional second step, we also collect your answers to that position's questions and any work history you share.

When you use the origin/destination fields, the text you type is sent to Google Maps to suggest addresses as you type — this does not identify you personally to Google beyond the text of your search.

3. Why we collect it

We use your information to: respond to your quote request and follow up with you; confirm and hold a scheduled call; evaluate your job application and contact you about the hiring process; and, only if you don't object, send you relevant follow-up communications about our services.

Submitting a quote request is not a binding contract — the shipping rates and details you receive are preliminary and are confirmed by a sales representative before any service is agreed to.

4. Who we share it with

Note: this section excludes SMS opt-in data and consent, which is never shared with third parties under any circumstances. See section 6 for details.

We share your information with the service providers that let us operate this site and respond to you:

  • GoHighLevel (LeadConnector) — our CRM, where your contact information is stored so our sales/talent team can follow up with you, and where scheduled calls are booked.
  • Resend — the service we use to deliver the internal notification emails your submission triggers.
  • Cloudflare (R2 storage) — where your résumé/CV file is stored, in a private location our team accesses to review your application.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — the security check that runs on our forms to tell real people from bots. Cloudflare receives technical signals from your browser (such as your IP address and device characteristics) to make that determination; it does not use them to build an advertising profile of you. Its handling of that data is described in the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
  • Google Analytics 4 — our web analytics provider. It receives technical data about your visit (pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and the site that referred you) through cookies and similar identifiers, so we can understand how the site is used. It does not receive your name, email, or phone number.
  • GoHighLevel (LeadConnector) — website analytics — separately from its role as our CRM above, GoHighLevel also measures site traffic (pages viewed, time on page, device, and approximate location) so the same team that follows up with you can see it alongside your record.
  • Google Maps Platform — only the text you type in the origin/destination fields, to suggest addresses.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Cookies and tracking

This site uses analytics cookies and similar identifiers. Two providers measure how the site is used: Google Analytics 4 and GoHighLevel. Both are described in section 4.

We do not use advertising cookies, we do not run retargeting or ad campaigns from this site, and we do not sell or share this data with advertising networks.

You can block these cookies from your browser settings, or install Google's official opt-out add-on for Analytics. Blocking them does not affect your ability to use the site, request a quote, book a call, or apply for a job. Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

The security check on our forms (Cloudflare Turnstile) also sets a cookie, but it is strictly necessary to tell real people from bots and is not used to measure or profile you.

6. Text messages (SMS)

We only send you text messages if you explicitly asked us to. On our quote and call-request forms there is a separate, optional checkbox for SMS — it is unchecked by default, and you can submit the form without it. Typing your phone number into a form does not, by itself, sign you up for text messages.

  • What we send — promotional messages from Tradelink Logistics: follow-up on your quote, updates about your freight, and occasional offers.
  • How often — message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • How to stop — reply STOP to any message and we stop texting you. Reply HELP for help. You can also write to us at the address below.
  • Never a condition — agreeing to receive text messages is not a condition of requesting a quote, booking a call, or hiring any of our services.

Your mobile number and your SMS consent are treated separately from everything else in this notice, and are never passed along to anyone else:

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

In plain terms: we do not sell, rent, or hand your phone number to anyone for their own marketing, and your opt-in is never included in any data we share. The only companies that touch it are the providers that physically deliver the messages for us (our messaging platform and the phone carrier), and they may only use it to deliver them.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep your information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described above (following up on your quote or application), and afterward only as long as needed for legal, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.

8. Your rights (access, rectification, cancellation, objection)

You have the right to know what personal data we hold about you (Access), request corrections (Rectification), request that we delete it (Cancellation), oppose certain uses (Objection), and revoke your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, write to privacy@tradelinklogistics.com with your name and the request you're making — we'll respond within a reasonable time.

9. Data security

Your information travels encrypted between your browser and our servers, and is stored with access limited to the team members who need it to do their job.

10. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top of this page always reflects the latest version.
